Conflict Regulation

Conflict is everywhere. Conflict is part of life, because conflict is evolution. Conflict serves to loosen a situation that has become too stable or rigid – or to stabilize a fragile situation. Both may allow a new state to arise.

Conflicts can be productive or destructive. And conflicts have a life of their own.

Are you comfortable with conflict? Do you get energy from a heated confrontation? Might you find it more difficult to calm a conflict down? Would it be helpful for you to build skills in deescalating conflicts when this may be beneficial – in professional situations or personal relationships?

Or do you need harmony and consensus? Do you tend to paralyse or turn away when the heat is on? Can you escalate a conflict when need be? Would you benefit from getting more comfortable in being with conflicts?

Being with conflict is a skill. You can learn to regulate conflict. Interested?

Or do you grapple with a conflict and look for support?
